1. Access Period and Course Length
Your access period is sixteen (16) weeks from when you have been enrolled on the course. You can take breaks and revisit any of the material at any time during this period. Extensions are available. If you think you need one, please speak with your tutor in the first instance. The learning is comprised of video lectures and reading materials.
The suggested duration of the course is approximately 30 hours. This is made up of 20.5 hours of video lectures, around 9 hrs of readings, a 1-hour tutorial and a 1-hour assessment.
Some people may take longer than 30 hours, some fewer. It is different for each learner. You may want to make brief notes during the lectures and note down any questions to ask your tutor and or use the references and links for further reading. You are not expected to re member everything from every lecture and reading. There is a lot to take in!

xi. Assessment
This is a one-hour question and answer session with your tutor arranged when you are nearing completion of the course.
xii. Graduation
A graduation event is put on annually and students invites to a presentation and reception. If people do not wish to attend certificates are sent by post.
3. Tutorial
You will have been sent the details of your tutor via email. They will be in touch shortly to introduce themselves. You will have one tutorial in the course and one assessment at the end each. These sessions are a maximum of one hour long. Your tutorial will be held at the halfway point
Your tutor is there to support you with the course and answer any questions you may have. When you are nearing the halfway point, please email your tutor to let them know so you can agree the date and time for your tutorial session.
4. Assessment
When you are nearing the of the teaching materials, please email your tutor to let them know so you can agree the date and time for your assessment session.
The assessment is a series of oral questions put to you by your tutor. This is a supportive activity designed to explore your understanding of the material. If you fail the assessment, you will be given guidance on what areas you need to revisit and be offered the opportunity to retake the assessment.
