Kent McFadzien

Bio
Kent McFadzien is a Principal Data Analyst and applied criminologist in the Metropolitan Police’s Strategic Insight Unit. He focuses on enhancing evidence-based policing by testing and implementing innovative police practices and technologies. With prior experience as a Police Officer in New Zealand, he has gone on to work with police agencies both in the UK and internationally. Previously, he held the position of Research Manager at CCEBP, developing the Evidence-Based Investigation Tool (EBIT) and evaluating Rapid Video Response (RVR) for domestic abuse, which have been rolled out across multiple UK police forces. The latter was awarded ‘outstanding experimental field trial’ by the Division of Experimental Criminology at the American Society of Criminology.
